I have tried to edit some gaming videos recorded with MSI afterburner. I can play them in VLC and Realplayer just fine, but in Vegas Movie Studio they stutter and the colors are just a big blur.
Video: 00:00:58,500, 60,000 fps, 1680x998x24, x264vfw - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec
How the video looks in VLC:

How the video looks in Movie Studio:

I have tried both Movie Studio 11 and 12 aswell as 32 and 64 bit.
I have CCCP codec pack installed aswell as separate x264vfw codec

i had to convert it to mp4 for vegas pro to even open that one. it's a little on the strange side. the width height and dar are all bizarre. once it's mp4 it looks like this and works fine in vegas pro 12. try using avidemux to convert one at your end and see if it helps it play nice in studio. set video to copy, audio to acc - (faac) and the output to mp4 muxer. name the file to be saved as anything.mp4

looks like the audio may be shorter than the video. i used mediacoder to convert the video to huffyuv and left the audio on copy. here's what it looks like in vegas. avidemux may have matched the video to the shorter audio.
