  1. I have a problem on sony vegs. I have a project with 14 parts. Each part is a video (Lagarith Lossless Video Codec) which weighs a lot .. (These videos are encoded with almost unloses quality codec )

I put all the parts to one part in sony vegas. Then render to - wmv video, 51FPS.
i rendered to 51FPS because my parts are witch 50FPS

I got a two-hour video, which weighs 5GB. Most of the time the video fine. But there are parts that apparently does not work well in the video. These parts are played with a black screen. No picture. There is only sound ..

I do not know why it happened .. There is no doubt that this is a bug .. It is very annoying that everything is going well and at the end of a software bug destroys everything.

I checked if this problem occurs in the preview of sony vegas and i didnt saw this problem.
It was only after the renderer.

    What should I do?

  2. Sony Vegas always used to do that to me including the sound but no video. I found myself rerendering stuff about 3 times. Never did find a fix for it. Its the main reason i switched to Premiere. I know this probably doesn't help you but your not the only one with that problem.

Premiere is a very heavy software. As soon as I put in at least seven parts then the software takes all the memory on my computer.

And the last thing I would try is to replace software ..
I do not want to change software ..

I just started getting used to sony vegas and I learned a bit how to use it ..
    I want a solution ...

  4. Why do you need to render to 51 fps?

If you are desperate, and you say that Vegas' preview is allright, you can always tackle Debugmode frame server and try to encode Vegas' timeline with Microsoft Expression Encoder, it accepts that signpost.avi coming from DMFS.

I'm not desperate .. I'll be desperate if anyone here does not know the solution ..

I can not believe it ..
This software costs 600$ (not yet bought the software. I'm on trial period). With such a critical issue, the software should be free because in the end - you have nothing.

If I'm not the only one with this problem, there must be a software fix.

  6. Does it happen if you try another export format other than wmv ? (e.g. try lagarith, uncompressed, h264) . Render a loop region corresponding to the area in black

  7. So you have latest latest 12 version ?
Just for kicks try to disable graphics card accelerations, transparency for windows in OS, dynamic RAM set to zero, install latest Quick time
