Someone put a home video on a disc and asked me to convert it to play on a home DVD player...the problem is its a Windows Media icon...And I have no idea where to start or what to do ...even if it can be done?...Any suggestions of any type would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks,
BigDogz

Convert it? No problem.
Check out How To Convert to the left. And I quote:
With these guides you can convert(encode) almost any videoclip, AVI, DV, DVD, DivX, ASF, MOV (Quicktime), WMV or RM to VCD,SVCD, DVD, DivX, ASF or RM. If you get problems when converting read the guide and again and last ask on the forum.
Check out DVD Players Compatibility list to the left for you odds of
success. If you got a good (or even ok) one, you should be able
to create a VCD that plays. Look at the How To Author to do this
once you have converted your WMV file to a MPEG1 VCD file.
Good Luck :P
