I am going to be making a VCD of a TV show for personal use and I have a resolution question. I know that standard NTSC resolution is 352x240 (and 30fps) for VCD but I know some people say I should capture at a higher rate (like 640x480) and then convert to 352x240 when I do the MPEG encoding. Is this a good idea or just a waste of space? BTW, I use the PICVIDEO MJPEG codec and the Panasonic encoder. Thanks
