Hi all,
I have a DV AVI file which I am editing in VirtualDub. Is there a way I can frameserve from VirtualDub to Handbrake so I can create an MKV file without saving the intermediate edited file?
I tried 'Start Frameserver' in VirtualDub, renamed <something>.vds to <something>.avs, and found Handbrake cannot open .avs files. I have AviSynth installed.
Also, I would like to be able to frameserve from VirtualDub to another MPEG-2 encoder (say TMPGENC or MC) simultaneously the same file which is going to Handbrake, so that I can have one MPEG-2 file and one MKV file at the end of encode(s). Is this simultaneous frameserving possible from VirtualDub?
Thanks.

Yes, auxsetup has to be run once to register the frame server component with the system.
