Which video playlists can begin and end entries at a specific point in a video? like, starting a video at the 15-minute mark, then ending it a the 30-minute mark before moving on to the next entry? I've tried doing this this for local playback with both .smi and .smil playlists on MPC-HC, but I just can't get it to work, even with Real Alternative 2.02 installed. I can get the same playlists to work (somewhat) with Quicktime Player, but my player of choice is MPC-HC and I'd rather they play with that. I'm sure there's probably some filter or splitter tweaking I'm not doing right here, but are there any other playlist types that can do this (preferably ones known to work with MPC-HC)? Thanks.

SMIL playlists must be supported by the media player itself.
RealAlternative cannot make MPC-HC start acting like RealPlayer ( fortunately).
