Hi all,
I have several HD video clips that range from 1-2 hours. I would like to create playlists where I play segments of each clip and transition from one to the next. For example, start with 20 minutes from some point in the first clip, then 10 minutes in the next clip at some point, 25 from the next and so forth. Some clips may even have multiple segments that I'd like to take from them. The idea is to create multiple playlists with transitions without having to do this in a video editor and export a large HD file each time (potentially reducing quality along the way). Are there any programs that can help me achieve this?
Thanks,
Al

Maybe with vlc see https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/332710-Videolan-VLC-Play-Random-Parts-of-Playlist-M...=1#post2069164 and http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=56998#p246908 .
But I don't think you will find something that supports transitions.
