On rare BDs, DVDfab will crash during the initial scan (example: Black Dynamite). Is there another blu-ray ripper out there that can rip specific chapters straight to M2TS? I have no need to do any re-encoding. So far, Pavtube is the only other ripper I've found that actually allows for ripping straight to M2TS without re-encoding. Unfortunately, it seems only to be able to rip whole titles and not specific chapters in those titles (at least, the trial version does this).

Thanks, Clown_BD's a nice little program and a good alternative ripper/demuxer. Splitting by chapters for BDs appears to be broken in it, though. And, even if it worked, it looks like it makes you rip the entire movie and without being able to select just one chapter. Ah well.
Xilisoft, on the other hand, is awful. It can't do direct stream copy or rip chapters. Pretty sure it messed up my BD-ROM drivers when I uninstalled, too. Avoid that like the plague. -
What is this.....two rival company spammers trying for free Google hits? This thread STINKS.

Its not true that Pavtube is not capable of ripping individual chapter. I've just downloaded the trial version and found it to be an effective Blu-ray chapter ripper. My only complaint is that it can't deal with dts or dts-hd or TrueHD audio. Its best output audio selection is AC3.
