  1. Once upon a time I used to spend a lot of time producing DVD's from MPEG2 files. I then got lazy and just burned the MPEG2 files to DVD, put the DVD into my SD DVD player, the files were listed and I just played them, often unedited.

I have now got an HD camcorder and I ask the question can I burn mts files to DVD, put the DVD into a Blu Ray player, see the files listed and just play.

I can't get a straight answer Googling so can anyone else help out. Basically what's the easiest way to view mts files on a TV (burning something to DVD, going through a DVD player, not straight from the camera) for a person with lazyitis.

  2. There are guides on the net on putting AVCHD on a dvd and playing it on a blue ray player. Is that what you have? You can PM me for my guide if you want.

  6. See this: http://www.ehow.com/how_5145306_burn-avchd-file-dvd.html
This will only work if the resulting AVCHD DVD is placed into a Blu-Ray player. A normal DVD player cannot play the disk.
