i converted an srt subtitle to idx using Txt2Vobsub.
the problem is:
when i play the movie on my pc, the subtitle color is yellow with a black outline.
but when i play it on my tv, the subtitle color becomes sky blue with a white outline, which makes it difficult to read.
my tv has no usb ports, i insert my usb flash disk into my satellite receiver in order to play movies.
is there a way that i can maintain the color of the subtitle? i want it to be yellow when i play it on my tv.

Your receiver uses a different color palette than the PC. Click on colors and try a different setting.

If you use AviAddXSubs to create idx/sub from .srt on the Configuration 2 Tab, make sure to check
YUV values at idx/sub color palette. I use white subs with black border. With that option checked, when I play the video on PC the subs look a muddy pink. But they look normal when played on my set top box or dvd player.

Here's a screen shot of the options tab I'm talking about
