I need to replace the cable that came with my small Coby TV. That cable has a 3.5 plug for video and a 3.5 combined plug for audio (which go into the Coby). The other end has three RCA male plugs. I'm using the cable to connect to my Mag513 DVD recorder (using a dual female connector to connect to the RCA male plugs on the cable coming from the Mag513).

I've tried my usual cable supplier - Monoprice - but they don't carry such a cable. Can anyone suggest where else to check. (as Monoprice doesn't carry it I'm wondering whether anyone else does.)

And what do you call this cable? A "3-into-2 composite RCA/Mini-stereo" cable?

I could just as easily use this type of cable with RCA female connectors instead of the RCA male connectors, and dispense with the double female connector.

    Thank you

Just did a search - I guess you mean a 3.5mm plug and you're too cool to mention "mm". Thanks buddy. Take a look here:

Using "3.5mm" as your search term might lead to better results.

Radio Shack sells tons of adapters should you not find an exact cable match. But I think if you will use the right term you'll have better luck.

    Thanks for your reply.

Actually...I just typed quickly and left it out. Perhaps typing quickly is also "cool".

What I need are male 3.5mm plugs on the non-RCA end; not a female plug, as on the url you pointed to.

By the way...I did include "mm" when "chatting" with Monoprice Tech Support. He was the one who told me that Monoprice doesn't carry it.
