    Hello.

I'm editing some video for a guy- making him a DVD from some MXF files he brought me. Turns out after so much research and so many downloads, I just can't get MXF files to play on my machine.

Anyway, I have a video converter called Foxreal. When adding the MXF files to be converted, I'm actually able to preview them. I'm wondering if this is just some simple conversion-preview that Foxreal runs since my machine simply can't play MXF.

So here's the deal and the big issue at hand. Some clips (out of like 100 or so) have crackling audio and/or its outright sped up. Sounds like the dude is talking a mile a minute. I'm choosing the highest possible HD output for the files to be converted to- yet still the problem persists even in the converted clip.

My question is why would some clips have good audio and the others totally damaged? They're all MXF and of the same variety shot from the same cameraman.

Your help would be much appreciated as I'm under a lot of pressure to get this project done.

    Thanks so much!!!

  2. I'm having the same issue when converting .MXF files to .MOV using the Aunsoft program. Audio is sped up and full of distortion.

Did you ever find a solution?

    Thanks!
