    if there is a hack for this player it will more than likely be only for the dvd part of this blueray player
    not all blueray players can be hacked.

  3. thanks ! do you know where i can find the hack for the"DVD part"
    I bought DVDs in France ( zone 2) no problem for blu ray ,those are "simple DVDs"

    What october262 REALLY said - IF there is a hack for this player, and the odds are tremendously against it, it will only work for the DVD part of the player. We're talking like a 5% chance at best that such a hack exists.

    You can rip the DVDs and reburn them to new discs. This will remove the region coding. However, you'll need a BD or DVD player capable of displaying PAL video or converting it to NTSC and a TV capable of accepting PAL video input if your player can't convert to NTSC. If you bought this player in the USA or Canada the odds of a hack existing drop to 1%.

  5. yes indeed,the player has been bought in canada. and is not compatible whit PAL video. so I will use my old toshiba dvd player that has been hacked already .
