    Hi there

    I wondered if anybody out there can help. When I record in HDV and using OnLocation, my laptop crashes. I want to be able to record in HDV and on to tape at the same time for back-up. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I am using version 5.5 of OnLocation with a Sony Video Camera HVR Z1E.

    does the laptop capture hdv tape correctly if using hdvsplit or other programs?
