The video originally in MOV format came with the soundtrack horribly out of synch and at many times during the video the sound mutted out for a few seconds. So I saved the soundtrack separately first as WAV file then as an MP3 and to my horror found that it was 2 minutes shorter than the video.
I Have Windows 7 so VirtualdubMod doesn't work on my system I used VirtualDub to extract the audio and have been trying to merge the audio with the video (Another copy I made of the video without sound) using VirtualDub again to no avail. changing the framerate hasn't worked and using negative values to skew the audio has not worked either.
What if anything can be done about it?
