If you want more details you must provide more information, what is your source, what exacty do you want to output, etc.

Frame rate is more the issue vs 1080p.

    DVD HD 1080P
Does this mean you want an upscaling DVD player?

YOu can't make standards DVDs in HD and most dvd players does not support any other HD video sources.

pal dvd can only be 720/576 which is what convertxtodvd will give you. if you have a blu-ray player, not a dvd player you could make 1080 discs.

No you don't. Maybe the player upscales to 1080p, but there's no such thing as DVD video outputting 1080p.

Your "Full DVD player" will only play 720x576 or 720x480 discs or files, then upscale.

  9. Did you consider just connecting the computor with the TV through a HDMI cable ?
