  1. Hey guys, hope I got the right category for this subject. Basically I'm trying to convert some episodes from a DVD into single Xvid files using riverpast video cleaner. Now, I have experience doing this so I know I have all the settings correct, but my issue is, the program is selecting it's own audio source from the disc. There is NO option to select different audio tracks for DVD's with multiple audio as far as I know. So what i'm getting is some episodes are right, some have commentary, and others are in a different language lol. Does anyone know a way to specify within the program what audio source you want? I don't see an option anywhere, and if there isn't one, what a MAJOR flaw for a video conversion software.

And before anyone just makes the obvious easy response "why don't you try another software" This is really obvious and not helpful. I love riverpast, it produces really high quality results for the short amount of time it takes. Even files I've converted from DivX to Xvid look great, and you'd assume that would be garbage. HOWEVER, if you're certain about a better software I should use for these type of projects, by all means, suggest it. Thanks! =)

Probably because it's not a "real" dvd converter and just an all-in-one solution.

My favorite dvd episode converter is fairuse wizard, it can rip each episode to separate files with very good xvid quality.

  3. Well it's funny I checked their website and it says "pro version features" (which i have pro version) and it says "choose audio stream" (select input audio for sources with multiple audio tracks etc etc"

I find that hilarious. A feature you only get with the pro version. Lol. But anyways, I have the pro version and I don't see an option anywhere. Weird. I tried downloading a version of that fairuse wizard as well but my AVG said it was a trojan and deleted it lol.

Fairuse wizard is not a trojan. Most antivirus apps are too sensitive... test the files with www.virustotal.com and if most report it as a virus don't use it.
