    Hello guys.

I just bought my family a 3D 7.2 home theater as a Christmas gift this year.
    LG HX996TS (HX 996TS, SH96TS-FR, FL, SR, SL, C, W)

The 3D blu-ray player is locked DVD region 04 (Brazil) and Blu-Ray region A.
I own a lot of DVD's from different regions, especially region 01, since I buy a lot from Amazon.com and Amazon.ca.
I also own a lot of DVD's from Europe, region 02, and Asia, region 03 and 06.

I searched all over the Internet but I can't find an unlock solution for this blu-ray player.
    Would anyone help me????

A "Home Theater System"?....99% chance there will never be a hack for that.

The review I found said your home theater system included LG's BD960 Blu-Ray player. While some of LG's inexpensive Blu-Ray players have a region unlock, there doesn't seem to be one for the BD960. You will need to use a different player for your discs from outside region 4, or make region-free backups for them.

    Oh no!!!!

But then I won't have all my 7.2 sound system working on foreign DVD's.

If I were to back them up on DVD-R, DVD-9 in Brazil are rare and expensive. I would obtain a lossy format on DVD-5.
I would need to convert European and Asian DVD from PAL to NTSC as well.

The region hack you are looking for will not solve the PAL/NTSC problem either. Region codes/zones have nothing to do with PAL/NTSC.

    I know that.

I unlocked a SONY BD Player once that would only play NTSC region 04 as well and it started working with PAL system.

Nevertheless, I will find a region free PAL DVD on my library see if it works...

Just inserted a free region DVD-R with PAL content.
    Works fine. No problems.

Wish I could play all regions.
