    Please give us as MUCH information as possible.

    Crashes how? Just freeze and you have to manually reboot it or does it reboot automatically or some other crash?
    Does it happen with whatever video source you add in dvd architect and try make dvd?
    Does anything else on your computer also crash your computer?

    Nothing has ever crashed my pc before, i basically author the dvd with menus etc...then preview to make sure, go back to the author, click "make dvd" then it waist for about 1 minute then the whole pc crashes.

    It goes to (not responding) then crashes...

    Ive put architect as high priority in processes & it still crashes...

    When i use it all in my laptop it works fine its only on my pc that it crashes, but my pc is WAY more powerful then my laptop?

    Are you trying to burn directly to disc from DVD Architect, or are you first saving to a folder on the hard drive? The latter option is best. Thereafter, you can burn to disc using ImgBurn, a very solid, freeware burning program.

    Thats what i had in mind, but when i click "make dvd" the menu for folder/burn doesnt even come up on my pc it just crashes, on my laptop it all seems to be working fine though, BUT its been rendering for over an hour stuck at 97%? Is this normal? (this is my first time with architect)

    Is there a way i can get an ISO to use straight from DVD architect? (at the mo its making a VOB folder)

    Thanks for the replies

  8. Problem solved:

    Options->Preferences. Uncheck "automatically detect plug-and-play CD/DVD drives"
