  1. Hey guys, I am having an issue. I have a sony blue ray player that is pretty new, hooked up through an HDMI cable to a LG HDTV.

I put in a regular DVD yesterday and the audio was very out of sync. it's never done this before. any ideas why?

I updated the blu ray player and the problem still is there.

any help would be great! thanks

"Regular DVD" <--- Just one or many discs?

If many, first reset player to default system settings.

I don't see this problem on my Sony BDP-BX37 (S370)

Some HDTV sets or audio receivers have an audio delay adjustment per HDMI input.
