    does the region hack posted on this webpage for the pioneer dv 343 work anymore ? my player is pretty old..bought it during summer of 2001 already but it seems like the region hack isnt working..how do i know that it worked besides poping in a different region dvd ? should it indicate the new region the next time i pressed display to show the firmware and such ? thanks in advance..

    Well, it will not work on new dv-343's, that's for sure, since Pioneer removed this option after pressure from MPAA . Dunno when this was implemented tho'
