I have Win 32 bit on my C drive. I bought 64 bit but I'm a bit 'worried' and want to make sure things will run properly. Here's my question:
Can I do a fresh install on another drive (My D drive is currently very empty). And if all works well, use that drive as my boot drive and then wipe the C drive after moving all my valuable information over to the D drive?

I would temporarily unplug the C boot drive. I've had problems with using a 'D' or other drives for OS boot with some programs. Your empty drive will become your 'C' drive then.
You can move over your data from the old 'C' drive if you plug it back in, though it will probably be the 'D' drive now. You can't easily move programs, just data.
I usually unplug all hard drives except the boot drive when installing a OS. If all your drives happen to be the same size, you can easily format the wrong drive and destroy all your data. -
Good to know. I'll move all my important files over to one drive (I have 3), unplug 2 and then wipe the already clean drive for a fresh install. Hope it works.
