Hi all,
A friend of mine picked up a Motorola dcx3501 DVR from his cable company and was wondering if there's any drivers available for use with CapDVHS? I've been using a DCT6416 DVR and recording to my PC and he would like to do the same with his DVR. Thanks in advance for any help!

The DCX3501 is not on the list of supported devices here:

so most likely the answer is "no".
It's worth mentioning that the drivers you have to install to use CapDVHS do NOT work at all on 64 bit Windows. The original author seems uninterested to create 64 bit Windows drivers and attempts to pay or sweet talk technically knowledgeable people into writing 64 bit Windows drivers have failed. I know you said absolutely nothing about 64 bit drivers but I just wanted to mention it anyway in case someone seeing this is not aware of it. -
Thanks, I did not know about the 64 bit part of it and I've been using 32 bit so no problems! We'll just have to keep our eyes peeled for possible drivers in the near future. Thanks!
