I have seen many set top dvd players that are vcd compatible, but can't say I've seen any that say scvd. If they play vcd will they play the svcd
format as well?![]()

No, just because they say they can play VCD does NOT mean they can play SVCD..Take a look at the DVD Player compatability section of this website, it is a GREAT resource. Spend some time reading there before you purchase anything, you'll be glad you did.
