I would like an easy and simple way to just chop enough of the edges of some MKV's so that they can appear in full 16:9 aspect ratio rather than having the black bars at the top and bottom.
i've tried mkvmerge and handbrake but these do not seem to help, unless i am doing something obviously wrong??
I understand that the movies are made in 21:9 for cinema release, and until 21:9 tv's are mainstream.. I'd like to view my film in 16:9 on my current tv and not through a silly letterbox at the end of my front room
so.. an easy way to chop off the sides, thus zooming the whole picture in a bit?
don't say "zoom button" lol
cheers
