I recently purchased several pal tapes of my favorite band. These are mostly second generation copies, but contain some rare stuff. To this point, I have been using a Panasonic AG-W3 multi system for playback.
Would a high end pal Panny or JVC with time base correction and dnr give me results worthy of an upgrade ? I have an ACE converter to go from pal to ntsc, so that's not an issue.
I notice that these units are mostly in the UK and run 150 to 300 GBP plus shipping. Is there any one here in the states or Canada who might want to sell a low mileage vcr ?
Thanks guys !!
