    I always rip my DVD's to my external hard drive when using CloneDVD. I have 2 drives...
    One has a 7200 rpm speed with a 16MB cache.
    The other is 5400 rpm with a 32Mb cache.
    Which one should I use? Or does it matter.
    BTW, these are non compressed copies of the main movie option.

    It doesn't matter. Are you using USB 2.0 drives? They max out around 30 MB/s, much less than most modern drives are capable of.
