Has anyone here ever attempted to author, burn and play an AVCHD DVD with 720 30p content on a standalone Blu-ray player? While the disc is not "in spec", as the 30p frame rate is not officially supported (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVCHD#Specifications), I'm thinking that it (this frame rate) may not matter for some players. Any comments or observations in this regard?
P.S. I bring up this topic because tech support at Shedworx suggested it may work.
