Sony PCV2252, 3.2ghz, 150G HD, Windows XP, but NOT the original operating system.

Has this card in it, which looks to me like a Hauppauge card, but it doesn't say so, and says Sony on it.

    Q. WHAT IS THIS CARD

Trying to Copy VHS tapes to DVD files with EasyCap device, which does well on some tapes, but looks to not track on others. I thought it was a copyright problem, but was told at the post below it may just be very old tapes or incompatible/old VCR machines.

Would like to use this card if I could figure out what it is, and get drivers for it. Any thoughts?

Card has wires running to the front of the computer to more (I think) inputs, s-vid and composite (last pic)

  3. Funky card, funky software, funky filetypes. Never actually seen one working, but was not impressed by the captured files I saw. Never seen one outside a Sony box. Propietary as hell.
