    Hello,

Ive got two films from inside a car, One from the front and one from the back. I was wondering what would be the best method for me to be able to play the front video full screen with a section of the back video playing at the top, Like a rear view mirror in a real car.

Can this be done in windows movie maker. I have Sony Vegas but haven't used it much before.

    Is it a simple task?

    Thanks

What you want is support for PIP (picture-in-picture), or multi-layered video. Vegas can easily do that. WMM probably NOT (unless it's been greatly improved recently).

IIWY, I'd even make a non-rectangular mask to "fit" the rear-view mirror for better realism.

In Vegas, put the main video (the full screen one) on the video track. Add a new video track above this one, and put the rear view video on this track. Use Track Motion to resize and position the top track wherever looks best.
