    Is there a guide or ownersmanual which details the setting tab and the meaning of each check box for CapDVHS ?

    If such a thing doesn't exist, can someone tell me which boxes to check and which ones to uncheck in the settings tab for the following use.

    HD DVR (Verizon by Motorola)
    firewire connection to Windows XP
    to record MPG but preferably *.MOV

    Can't find a manual.

    So you have it installed and working? Just need menu help?

    yes, it is installed and working. i just need a detailed manula for things like finding a way to capture files that quicktime can read as *.mov

    Not going to happen. CapDVHS only reads the MPeg2 TS stream into a m2t or TS extension file.

    Changing container to quicktime is a separate step. (see other thread)
