This may seem a silly question but I have two Divx certified DVD players and today just on a lark I decided to burn my first Divx DVD. So I burned two .avi files to DVD but when I pop them in the players they see the folders but then tell me the file is not supported. I've tried Nero and a couple of other programs but no luck. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong or can you point me to a good guide? I'm thinking this should be fairly straightforward.

How did you create the avi? Downloaded? Easiest is to reconvert with avirecomp.
