  1. This may seem a silly question but I have two Divx certified DVD players and today just on a lark I decided to burn my first Divx DVD. So I burned two .avi files to DVD but when I pop them in the players they see the folders but then tell me the file is not supported. I've tried Nero and a couple of other programs but no luck. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong or can you point me to a good guide? I'm thinking this should be fairly straightforward.

How did you create the avi? Downloaded? Easiest is to reconvert with avirecomp.

  3. Thanks for that Baldrick. This particular .avi began life as a .flv I downloaded off the internet and converted to avi in SUPER.

  4. Use GSpot to examine your file. Does it have any of the problematic features in the link Baldrick posted? I suspect your problem is the frame size. Greater than 720 wide or 576 high.
