First "Action Video" with Effects

Hi all there =) I am new here =)

I make Videos with After Effects.

I made an Action Video and put some muzzle Flares in it and some other effects.
Now I really need your Help.

Could you maybe watch it and tell me what should I change or what does look unreal?

Your mussle flashes look like cartoons and don't match your sceen.

Agree with that, also need some bullet damage effects, tell the guy running up the stairs to stop doing dance moves, better acting, dialog, etc.

Everybody has to start somewhere.

The muzzle flashes just need to be desaturated and softened a bit.

the glasses thet get shot need to break faster i think.
when the guy gets shoulder shot he then stands up & no bullit hole?
what camere did you use as the lighting/exposure not bright.
