    Is there any down-loadable compilation test CD/DVD/USB with avi xvid/dvix and mkv, for testing player capabilities help in the shop?
    Creating one without sufficient knowledge doesn't succeed very well.

    This article has 2 links that still work (I just tried both) for downloading a Divx test disc for CD.

    I've used this disc and it works pretty well. I thought about maybe converting it to USB but it was going to be so painful if I could do it at all (and I wasn't sure I could) that I gave up on it. I am not aware of any MKV test discs.
