I have this HannStar HU171A monitor for sale. mfg October 2006. Uses standard computer power cord, and VGA connection. Has built-in speakers. Works, but for some reason only shows a white screen. Replaced it with a 19" widescreen, and am selling for only $5.

Ummm.... NO it does NOT work!!!

Replaced it with a 19" widescreen,
Like anyone gives a F*#K what you bought to replace your broken POS that does NOT work!!!

And WTF is a HannStar ?
I have seen some no name brands before but this is a new one to me....Why would someone want to show what a F*#ktarded scammer they are by trying to get a measly $5 for a POS NON working monitor and wasting their time with some knumbskull and having them know where they live, their phone number instead of just throwing the POS into the trash ?!?!

    WTF!?!?!?!

Probably a Hanns G or similar model. I've got a 21" one. But pretty much useless if it only gets a white screen. At least the back light seems to be working.
My favorite was a used monitor with a obvious bullet hole in the screen, sold for 'parts' on EBay. Not sure if any 'parts' would have survived the attack.

I saw somebody trying to sell a Panasonic E20 for $650.
It's a flawed crap DVD recorder from 2001.

At that price, I could buy a good recorder for less...
... and have enough left over to go on a Charlie Sheen bender.

Also saw a "for parts" monitor, too -- I think it was run over with a car. Only $35.

    LMAO!!!!

Seriously, for a non working POS why would you want to deal with all the idiots that actually want to buy it and let some, who knows what, know where you live and into your home just to make a measly $5.00!!!!!!!!

I am sure i have seen worse but for some reason that one just stuck in my craw

I saw a 15" CRT monitor that was like 10 years old and they wanted $75.00 for it!!!!!
    LMFAO!!!

Some people just have no clue!!

And i don't want to stereotype anyone, but i do notice in my state, michigan, area, the farther out in the sticks they are, the more $$ they seem to want for their old crap, so it must have to do with being more isolated from the real world ?
Either that or it's all the hollanders that live out here!!!

    LOL!!

This is easily the most retarded ad I've ever seen on craigslist.
    In near-mint, from a known comic store, it's $6.50

Since they removed all the 'exciting' stuff on Craigs's List, haven't been there much lately. I do check into Ebay on occasion and it often amazes me when people bid up something used higher than the new retail price. I don't know what those people are thinking.

    @lordsmurf

that comic book ad really had me rolling, i'm used to be a big comic collector (i have so many comics it's sad) and i happen to have one of those thundercats comics, i honestly can't imagine anyone, anywhere, at any time, even considering for a second paying anything even remotely near $100 for that comic let alone nearly 8 grand.

i do have some nice old school brave and bold, batman, superman, amazing spiderman, ff4 and a few others that are worth a few bucks but nothing worth anywhere near that.

If you have FF4 #1, I'd bet you'd be singing a different song.
