Vintage HDD - $2500 (Grand Rapids)
I have an antique hard drive that I no longer need and I need to sell it. My asking price is not $25.00 but it is $2,500. I know you can get bigger hard drives for much cheaper, but this piece of technology has historical and sentimental value.

    Thanks for viewing!

I hope thats not Grand Rapids MICHIGAN. I hope hes not a Michigander. Jeesh.

Well he got me to look but not buy

I have a 386 he might want to swap for it. I don't know if he'd value it that highly though

WOW! Oh heck, man - I got an old Seagate 3gig HD in my parts drawer!! It's probably older than his. I'm rich! (Rubs hands together..) this will pay for a new build! Seriously - I do have a 3 giger, I use it occasionally for a tester on a newbuild.

What is the "historical value" of this HDD? Why is this an antique, it's probably less than 15 years old?

If this is the case, I have a WORKING Miniscribe 40 MEGAByte drive from 1987 that I'll let go for only $20,000.

Is that the 386 era time frame? I think that is about what I have on the 386 I still have. Anyone remember DOUBLESPACE?

@redwudz - what is that? Looks more like a proton pack than a harddrive
