  1. hey everyone,
I just bought my first DVD-Rom drive and I have a 3dfx Voodoo3 installed. Anyway, My problem is, whenever I try to watch a DVD with PowerDVD XP 4. I get this error:

    error code : f4d4135
TheTV Out port of your display card is not working properly.
This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled.

Is there any way I can bypass this? or get rid of it? I tried checking out my graphic cards' properties and TV Out wasn't enabled. So i'm kind of stumped on this one. any help would be apreciated. Thanks.

  2. The problem is not with your DVD drive, it's with your Display Card's TV out, what you need is a Macrovision disabler, and then you can output the DVD to your TV.

  3. thanks for the help! But is there any way I can bypass this error without any hardware? with just plain software tweaks/hacks?

  4. That is a software solution, a Macrovision crack for your Voodoo3 card, once you disable it, you'll have no problems.

  6. Try looking on www.digital-digest.com, I saw a few for ATI and nVidia, maybe he has some for Voodoo cards too.
