Hi all.
I have some corrupted mpeg files. They show duration as few seconds while they are actually more than an hour of recording each.
I have used VideoRedo to fix some of them but for most others, VR just hangs up.
I have heard that it is one of the best of its kind in the market; however, I would welcome any other options equally good or better.
Thanks and regards.

As a generic file fixer, there is probably none better. However, to handle specific problems, there may very well be a better solution. That would require finding out what, specifically, the problem is.
Any help with that issue will require a LOT more information. -

Are you using the QSF (Quick Stream Fix) tool in VRD or just loading it into VRD and trying to save it? Also, are you running the latest beta version? Lots of fixes in the betas.
Have you tried posting in the VRD forum as the developers are fairly active there and may be able to help you directly. -
Thanks for your response.
Yes, I am using the QSF option in the Tools menu. I am using version 2.5.3.500. I think I may not be able to use the latest version as I do not intend to have a paid upgrade to my version at the moment.
I checked VRD forum but its showing 'down for manitenance' at present. -

"What, specifically, the problem is".
If the only issue is the indicated length a simple demux/remux usually fixes that. -
