    Hey,

I want to build an app that is connected to a camera which will detect motion, follow the moving object by zooming in up to a point, in decent watchable quality. Also there would be up to 2 camera's working together, showing two different areas.

What would you use for hardware, software for such a setup?

Also if there are any of you that offer such a service please contact me with an offer.

    Thank you very much,

Check with a security camera expert.

They have processors that do in-image motion detection plus work with camera external motion detectors to flag a specific camera for analysis.

Same as other post. Use a descriptive title.

Again, sorry about that. Not sure how to change the title.

edDV, I am also interested to get high quality video from the camcorder. Not sure if that changes anything.

There are plenty of HD security cams now. Is this intended for live or post analysis?

Most of the OEM digital models do.

I don't know if you are looking for a $30 cam or a $25k cam.
