  1. Hi everyone,

I don't usually post because I always try to find the solution by myself or searching on the web. But after several days I'm going to blow my head: P

I have a 1080p uncompressed short film and a want to codec to DivX to see it on TV using a DVD standalone player that supports DivX.

I made a lot of tests, but the resulting video ALWAYS appears on my TV with the "sawtooth" when movement occurs. On the other hand, if I play the same video on the PC is fine.

I tried to encode DivX in progressive, interlaced bottom field first, interlaced top field first, but nothing... always exactly the same and I don't know what happens, so any help is appreciated.

Thank you very much for your attention and sorry for my english.

Are you using the divx encoder, or another converter?

So you are going video -> normal compress -> compression -> divx and after you chose divx and you configured it to render at it's highest settings 1080HD profile?
