VirtualDub : Fade in/out from/to white color

Hi guys,

I'm a new to video editing and I'm using VirtualDub.
I'm looking for a plugin to make a fade-in or fade-out from/to the white color. I found plenty which work with the black color but none with the white

any idea ?

Make a white clip and crossfade.

Use the built in "Fill" filter in Virtualdub in "Blend" mode with the "Curve Editor" to fade in and out from any color wherever you want. There is a color picker built in so you can choose what color you want.

If you are editing an AVI file then you can choose the codec the file was encoded with and use "Smart Copy" to just recode where the fades are and it will direct stream copy the rest.
