I used to use ALPlayer, which was itself a good media player, but its main disadvantage was it disabled Windows Aero when running and I don't really like having to disable Aero on a per-application basis.
So I switched to KMPlayer, which is slightly better, although it could not retain the "bob" deinterlace filter and gave a
filmized look to material recorded from DVB-T; which wasn't what I intended to happen!
How can I fix this within the KMPlayer itself, so as to avoid getting a "filmized" look?
