  1. Ive been using DVDFlick to create dvd files and then nero express to burn them, and ive burned dozens without any problems. but when i try to add subtitles and then create the dvd files, the subtitles are not there, even after burning. the subs work fine when played on vlc media player. i was just wondering what program should i use that burns subs well? or am i just using dvdflick wrong?

  2. sorry i didnt realize there are guides here. it says that the only option is to hardcode the subs onto the file. isnt there a way to just add the subtitles when authoring or burning?

I don't use it myself, but see http://beginwithsoftware.com/videoguides/dvd-flick-guide.html
It says you can use SRT and other format subs, as selectable, not hardcoded.

The subs feature in DVD Flick work ok.
When you open the folder with VLC and play the video, you normally select the subtitles from the 'Video' menu.
If in DVD Flick you elect to 'Edit' the subtitles to 'Display by default', when you open the video in VLC, the subtitles display automatically.
That would prove that DVD Flick is working correctly.

When playing the disc in a DVD player, can you turn the subs on using the Subtitle button on the remote ? If so then they are there, and you can use PGCEdit to make then turn on by default.
