Ok, heres what i have done
    I've attempted Vobsub, MKVToolnix, VSFilter
None, seem to display my subs onto these MKV films
I might have done something wrong
But ive seen many "step by step" solutions that havn't work on me
Most were simple, some were.. quite the overload of information
I researched for about 2 hours and not a thing truely works

    Ask me of anything
Cause i downloaded this in packs and it was quite the load
Finding out all of the videos cannot merge with the subbings... i might chuck a fit at some point no really

Please help, i dont usaully go as far as to creating a topic about my problems but this problem, rather major

Oh and my limits of using these particular files are very low, its really my first time trying to attach soft subs on
So uh, pardon my noobness in this case

Are you using mkvmergegui that is included in mkvtoolnix? Load the mkv and then the srt and make new mkv.

And then how do you check so the soft subtitles works? Try VLC.

I use "MKV Player" to check if it works, valid?

And Yes im using MKVMerge Gui 3.0.0
I added the MKV and SRT in and simply pressed start muxing
Which did make a MKV, one that simply did not show the subs and practically made a copy
I dont believe its a problem within the SRT
Its likely i did something incorrect, but googling about this case i haven't found much similar problems

    Im not too sure
The MKV Player is very simple
I'll go look through it more
    Thanks for the heads up

Edit: Ahh i figured my MKV Player doesnt support any type of soft subs
And so i downloaded the VLC and it worked
I guess i was on the wrong track here, sorry
    Thanks again

You have to set the SRT track to Default=Yes. There should be a dropdown box to select it.

Also, use a proper player like MPC-HC.
