How to get subtitles with Smart Ripper?

I was recently trying Smart Ripper/DVD2AVI/TMPEGenc combo to convert DVD to VCD PAL. Nothing to say, all worked great but just how the heck do I get the proper subtiltles in the final movie? SmartRipper shows a list of subtitles in different languages but no matter which ones I check/uncheck there are no subtitles at the end. What is the thing I do wrong? Thanks.

you need a seperate tool to overlay subtitles(or else use flask, dvd2svcd, dvdx etc). try using vobsub with virtualdub, aviutil or avisynth

hmm, yeah kinda the same here..

well, kinda.
ripping subt. and add em in the movie.

well i can use smartripper, BUT.. hmm what is the subt. file name..

i used it on ana another movie here, DK subt. don´t have a clue how i did that.. soe i tried again with another movie, Leon. with Eng. subt.
no result. onky that the size was about 1.03 gb. movie.

soe. how da hell can i get the subt, on my films.??? plzzzzzzzz
