    Hi,
I was doing this task (.mkv /.avi to dvd - 5) with avs2dvd 2.3.3 nicely. But, suddenly when trying to add a title (.MKV file, size-7.94 GB), then that error throwing instantly by avs2dvd 2.3.3 ( see attachment).
Is this for file size or bug?

This soft worked with 6.55 GB .MKV file to DVD-5 without any error!

  2. I would suggest to download and use latest AVStoDVD release (2.3.4 - see footer links). If you still get that error, than try to extract the needed streams with MKVToolnix (MKVExtract) and then feed AVStoDVD with the elementary files.

    Hi MRC,
I've checked with new version but same error...I think big file is the main reason, have u checked with such big .MKV/.AVI files?
Please check...it'a great tool for me

  4. That error may happens if source container (mkv/mts/m2ts) has more than 10 subtitles tracks. That's why I have told you to demux the video/audio/subs streams you really need with MKVExtract and then feed AVStoDVD with those elementary streams.

    Have you tried?

    Hi _MRC_
Great...you were absulutely right...The error msg was for extra subtitles. After removing some subs with MKVExtract, it worked.

Thanks a lot! Can u advice to fix the video/audio etc rate so that I can get the best quality movie in DVD-5 with avs2dvd?
It will be useful for me.

  6. I'm glad you have fixed it.

About quality, it is a highly subjective matter. Have a read to the AVStoDVD Help (sections 'Preferences' and 'Edit Title'), you will get many hints, then try and judge with your eyes and ears.
