Checked online, and kept finding the same code and numerous replies asking the same question, but never an answer.

When do you enter the following code for region free?

Press O x 2 times
Press R1 x 5 times
Press X x 7 times

I've tried with no disc and the tray open, and no disc tray closed... never unlocked anything. Soon as the X is hit the screen changes to the No Data screen and that's it.

Anyone know if this code works? and if so where/how do I use it? I just bought a Sony Blu-ray and discovered that there are no region free codes for it in Canada. :S
