I'm trialling Sony VMS HD Platinum 10. (what a name.)
anyway, it says its a fully functional trial. the sonycreative website says it has NewBlue effects. the trial download hasn't. their support site is yet to reply and their forum annoying even in the registration.

I'm left wondering if the NewBlue effects are only a part of the purchased DVD. Can anyone tell me? What ones are in it? if any?
I've scoured the sony sites and can't find out - doesn't bode well for post sale support.

I'm most interested in the audio effects and clean up. Premiere elements 9 has them in the trial but PRE is very laggy in the interface and has crashed on me a couple of times already. I'm on an i7-950 w 6G ram, recently new machine and otherwise stable.
