  1. Hi

Not sure this is the correct place to post, but here goes. I have a Canon HV20 camcorder and have capture using HDVSplit. The captured files are in a .m2ts format.

I play these files back, unedited, in Windows Media Centre on a Windows 7 64 bit PC. Up until a few months ago, these files used to playback with no issues. Now, however, I get jerky playback, with tiling, pixelation etc every few seconds. Before I rebuild my PC, would anyone have any tips on what I should try to resolve this issue?

    Thanks

HDV files are just MPeg2 transport streams. Are you having problems playing other HD files?

I use MPCHC or VLC players with deinterlace active. MPCHC accesses dxva display card acceleration automatically.
