Hello, I recently ripped a DVD to my hard drive, I then ripped it to MPEG2 so I have all my chapters, now I want to remove the audio completely from them. Any advice on what software I should use? I realize this probably should have been done when ripping from my copy on the hard drive but the software I used did not allow this. I don't mind if I have to repeat this process as it didn't take long, once I'm left with my chapters in as best quality as possible with no audio that I can then make a new DVD with.

Download Avidemux, install it, open your Mpeg2 file, select video=copy, audio=copy and format=mpeg video and hit enter.

Hi guys thanks I found how to disable it under the Audio menu, will I lose some quality by re-encoding it?

  5. The video won't be reencoded, just copied. So, the answer is 'no'.
